"LISTEN. LEARN. LEAD."

Meet Laura, a dynamic and energetic mother

of two daughters with a fresh voice

for the Carrollton City Council.

Laura is a Native Texan, growing up in both Irving and Frisco, prior to attending Collin County Community College and The University of Oklahoma.

In 2021, Laura and her family moved to Carrollton for its safety, cultural richness, and excellent schools. Her father, aunt and uncle all worked for CFBISD, and it was a dream to live inside the district. Soon after, her family adopted 2 rambunctious cats (Tom and Huck) from the Carrollton based Mazie’s Mission. Most recently, they became the foster parents of Sadie, the sweetest dog from the Carrollton based Marleigh’s Friends. Laura is deeply involved in the Carrollton community, volunteering and regularly contributing to Rosemeade Elementary's PTA Board, Carrollton Early Childhood PTA, Metrocrest Services, LovePacs, Carrollton Trash Pickers- and is currently attending the Citizens Fire Academy with Carrollton Fire Rescue.

With a remarkable nearly 12-year tenure as the Director of Operations at a family owned property management firm and simultaneous engagement in the arts non-profit sector for over 15 years, Laura brings a unique blend of skills to the table. As a mother, Laura intimately understands the importance of community engagement and creating a safe, vibrant, and inclusive community for families. And as a candidate, she stands out for her genuine passion for positive change and a leader who is ready to listen, learn, and work collaboratively to address the unique needs of Carrollton.

Join Laura in shaping a brighter future where every voice is heard, and every family can flourish.
